Queer & Nerdy is a group for queers who also identify as nerds. The group arranges meetings every four weeks where nerdy interests are at the center, which includes everything from crocheting and writing to gaming and film. The meetings often have special themes with a selection of different activities.

Outsiders are common among queers and nerds alike, so Queer & Nerdy wants to be a safe place where everyone can be who they are without feeling left out. Participants also get the opportunity to explore new geeky interests and make friends. The group usually has several rounds of introductions per occasion where everyone gets to share names, pronouns and nerdy interests if they want.

Time and place

The group meets on every 4th Saturday at 12:00,  at the RFSL Uppsala offices. See our calendar for more information.
