Do you want to get involved in the organisation, by leading groups or helping out with events? Do you want more responsibility than just being a passive member? We're looking for smart and enthusiastic people to join our team of volounteers! Or maybe you have a suggestion for us?
We Need You!
Do you want to make a difference? Awesome! We have many different open positions, e.g.:
- Social media manager
- Photographer
- Volunteer coordinator
- Member of the Pride Planning Group
- Group (Co-)host
- Educator (requires Swedish proficiency)
No prior experience needed, but some positions may require you to take a course. Courses are organized by the national RFSL federation and free of charge.
The first step is for us to get to know each other better, and see how we can best fit together. Join our drop-in hours, one of our groups or sit in on one of our open board meetings (the date and time are announced in our Discord servers).

Become a Board Member
We elect a new board on our annual meeting every March. The board consists of the chairperson, the treasurer and additional board members. When it is time, you will find more information about how you can nominate someone or be nominated yourself here.

You can give suggestions or feedback to us through our email: uppsala@rfsl.se.
If the proposal is about a specific group you can contact the group organiser directly through the group email (info on the groups own page).
Start a new activity or group
If you want to start a new activity or group, email us at uppsala@rfsl.se or talk to us at one of our meetings. There are no ideas too big or too small for us! All groups receive support with administration, booking rooms and paying for snacks.
